In the fall of 2014, Western States Reclamation Inc. was hired to complete restoration work on two Wyoming pipelines totaling 816 acres in approximately 82 miles. The project required completion before the end of the year. Along with the tight timelines, snowfall, cold temps and heavy winter winds made the project a challenge. The Douglas line consisted of 286 acres to seed and mulch and 360 Mats removed. The Niobrara line was 530 acres to seed and mulch.
Western States came through for ONEOK by mobilizing over 20 workers and a large fleet of equipment to finish the job in 45 days.
