Lakewood Pipeline

This job site was specifically chosen for a High Altitude Revegetation workshop, native seed, and erosion control along a new water line. The scope of work included silt fencing, jute blanket, bonded fiber matrix, upland seeding, riparian seeding, and wetland seeding. This project also included planting approximately 19,000 shrubs and trees to re-establish forest and shrub land vegetation population. The challenges that had to be overcome were a lack of access to equipment and the unfavorable soil conditions. WSRI crews provided three (3) years worth of maintenance services. These services included watering, pruning, and replanting. All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) had to be utilized to haul personnel and water to the site.
